Working on my t-case today so I droped the drive shaft and decited to clean it up. When I pulled the rubber boot off of it about a tall boy cans worth of water poured out of the boot and out of the female end of the shaft. My question is should I replace the boot? or should I not run one? There was some surface rust under the boot but it came right off. let me know what you guys think. thanks- N8

If at all possible replace, otherwise water/mud/sand would really get in there. If its getting past the shaft into the female end could cause troubles

ya but what im thinking is wouldnt the boot actually retain water? like scock boots?
