MJC Dual run Trail Cleanup

Since the Dual run was such a success. About the only thing I was embarassed about was the amount of trash/dump sites on the trail. I know some others have mentioned this so I will be requesting at the next meeting to start a trail cleanup commitee, first concentrating on the trail we ran Saturday. For those interested here is the DNRs site regarding this.

Yeah for all that we would be best to get ahold of Pat Brower (i think it's his last name Ricky and Mike will know) He does the really big trail clean up in Twin Lakes, It's going to be alot of time put into that and to get the DNR to jump on because if you make a post about a Trail Clean up you will have alot of people coming to help, we can't have any problems of doing it. It need to be very well planned

I wholeheartedly agree, I know it will be a big undertaking thats why I'm suggesting a commitee be formed. I don't think we want to jump right into this, we need to lay the groundwork, est commitee, delegate a chair, develop reports and contact all those needed for assistance. I just wanted to put it out there to establish interest. No further action will be taken until club meeting.
